ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

This statement was last updated on July 29th, 2025.

We at Half Sweet Cafe are working to make our site HalfSweetCafes.com accessible to people with disabilities. Our website is designed to conform with WCAG 2.0, Level AA success criteria, the minimum legal standard in Ontario since January 1st, 2020. We strive to meet or exceed this standard wherever feasible. This statement covers all pages under our direct control, including public-facing content, mobile versions, documents, and social media pages we manage.

To support accessibility, we have implemented:

  • Used the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site

  • Set the content order of the site’s pages

  • Defined clear heading structures on all of the site’s pages

  • Added alternative text to images

  • Implemented colour combinations that meet the required colour contrast

  • Reduced the use of motion on the site

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and files on the site are accessible

While we work hard to remove barriers, some third-party content or files may not yet meet Level AA standards. If a page or document isn't fully accessible, there are alternate ways to share it upon request. We value your feedback, and if you encounter any accessibility errors or need information in an alternate format, please do not hesitate to contact us:
